Our commercially operating helicopter pilots provide aspiring helicopter pilots with the best possible foundation on which to build their aviation career. Our training programmes and our approach to delivery,  is designed to ensure future helicopter pilots are equipped with the high level of skills demanded by the GA (General Aviation) industry both here in NZ and around the world.  All our pilot training programmes adhere to the strict NZ CAA approved syllabus.

Quality Helicopter Pilot Training Facility

Our modern purpose built training facility is at the busy Hamilton Airport adjacent to the main passenger terminal – the busy air traffic control zone provides outstanding real training that sets professional helicopter pilots up for the rest of their career. Our fleet is modern, maintained to Part 135 air transport standards and available for private hire to all of our students once they are appropriately qualified. We operate an R44, EC120 and EC130 with access to a B206 and Safari for type specific ratings or flight reviews.

Experienced Commercial Helicopter Pilots

We only utilise experienced commercial helicopter pilots as instructors who can ensure you are prepared and capable in the real helicopter world. Commercial helicopter pilot students are encouraged to gain as many Pilot in Command hours as possible during the course and to work with operators on commercial operations such as frost protection work and sling load operations.

We encourage a culture of professionalism, safety and enjoyment, which ultimately leads to learning and the start of an amazing career as a helicopter pilot.
